Michael Cihigoyenetche
Hi, my name is Michael Cihigoyenetche, I grew up on a dairy outside of Emmett, Idaho. I worked with my parents and older brother on the dairy through High School. I learned a lot working on the dairy. I became interested in the recordkeeping side of things. My brother and I would use the computer to keep track of things on the dairy like tracking the livestock, supplies, and feed.
When I got to High School, I became interested in accounting and began keeping track of the income and expenses of the dairy.
After graduating from Emmett High School in 1989, I decided to attend ITT’s accounting program. During this time, I began working for Larry Stewart. I graduated from ITT and continued working in the accounting field for Ashmead and Associates. A majority of my work consists of working with QuickBooks on both bookkeeping and payroll accounts.
When I’m not at work, I spend my time with my wife, since 2006, Jennie, and our son Cameron born in 2009. We spend most of our time with family and friends(and chasing Cameron) Occasionally, I’m able to sneak away and go snowmobiling with friends. And Jennie and I get to drop our son off at the Grandparent’s house and sneak away for the weekend every now and then.
My future at work includes continuing to build a relationship with our clients and keeping up with the changes in the accounting world. And, at home, raising a happy and healthy young boy and enjoying time with my family.
